As CEP 812 is coming to a conclusion, the students have shared their insight this past week on the process of implementing a solution to a wicked problem. They were able to dialogue about the process from a perspective of understanding that grew from specific to foundational conclusions. We knew we had to share these dynamic ideas! Here is a summation of their conjectures in regards to identifying, researching, planning for/designing, and implementing solutions for wicked problems.

This is awesome! It is great to read everyone’s thoughts and see that there is so much in common between all of us. Sometimes in an online class it is easy to lose sight of all the other students in the class, so it’s nice to see a graphic that represents everyone together. I’m so glad I got to be a part of such an inspiring group of educators. What program did you use to make this? It looks like something that could be make in Word, but some of the text overlaps (i.e. truly care). Thanks for all your feedback and insight this semester Candace!

Hi Liz! I’m glad you enjoyed it. We knew we wanted to share in some way, but as we were reading it was awesome to see the rich statements all of you were making. As we pulled quotes, it was fascinating to see how they fit together in a little story almost. I used Photoshop to create the image, but I didn’t use any advanced features so it could be done using another program. I just wanted to basically have control of the text and freedom in placing it where I wanted (created different text boxes and layered them)- it also allowed me to size the image similar to an infographic, which I liked. Thanks for sharing with us this semester! It has been a great learning experience for us all!
